Pakistani passports and conditional e-Visas
Pakistani ordinary passports require a visa. With accepted supporting evidence, the Ministry provides a one-month single-entry e-Visa. Exemptions for certain official passports do not extend to ordinary passports.
French residence helps identify supporting evidence and the responsible mission, but does not replace Turkish requirements. Assess the actual visa or permit and its validity for the trip.
Keep supporting evidence consistent
Prepare the passport, travel dates and supporting document together. Check identity consistency, particularly after a name change. If documents show different names, establish the required linking evidence before submission.
A document valid while preparing may expire before arrival. Compare its expiry with the actual entry date and retain it for travel.
If supporting evidence is unavailable
Do not accept a declaration you cannot meet to proceed with a form. Establish the consular route and correct purpose category. A private express service cannot replace a missing eligibility condition.
French residents should check territorial jurisdiction and appointment arrangements before travelling to a mission. Residents in Pakistan should follow the locally responsible mission’s instructions.
Evidence belonging to another traveller
A spouse’s visa or permit must not be declared as your own. Check the holder and dates for every person, including children. A traveller who does not meet a condition cannot be checked out as eligible for this e-Visa service.
Supporting documents and passport validity
Where required, check a valid visa or residence permit issued by a Schengen country, the United States, the United Kingdom or Ireland against the official portal’s exact conditions. French residence is not a separate blanket exemption. A foreign e-Visa must not be assumed equivalent to accepted supporting evidence.
