Are Bangladeshi citizens eligible for an e-Visa?
Bangladeshi ordinary passports require a visa. The Ministry describes a conditional one-month single-entry e-Visa route. Holding an ordinary passport alone therefore does not establish unconditional electronic eligibility.
Diplomatic and official passport rules differ. Confirm the category on the document, then assess the accepted supporting evidence for your intended visit.
Prepare one checklist per traveller
Record exact identity, passport number, expiry, travel dates and supporting-document details individually. A group booking does not replace checks for each person.
Prepare legible, complete copies without glare. Copies for our assistance must show all relevant fields; this does not mean the government portal requires identical uploads from every applicant.
Passport or residence permit renewal
If a document is expiring, clarify the timeline before applying. Do not enter a future passport number or describe a pending renewal as a valid permit.
If a document changes after issuance, obtain official instructions before departure. Without accepted supporting evidence, assess the consular route.
Passport renewed before departure
An e-Visa is linked to the passport details used in the application. If you change passports, check official instructions before travelling; do not assume the authorisation transfers automatically to the new document.
Supporting documents and passport validity
Where required, check a valid visa or residence permit issued by a Schengen country, the United States, the United Kingdom or Ireland against the official portal’s exact conditions. French residence is not a separate blanket exemption. A foreign e-Visa must not be assumed equivalent to accepted supporting evidence.
